About Umrah
Umrah is one of the Islamic acts of worship through which a Muslim draws closer to God by visiting the Sacred House of God in Mecca. Umrah includes several rituals and acts of worship, including circumambulation around the Holy Kaaba, sa’i between Safa and Marwah, and shaving or cutting the hair. Umrah is performed at any time of the year, a voluntary act of worship that differs from Hajj, which is considered obligatory for resistance fighters once in a lifetime.
