About Hajj
Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and is obligatory for every capable adult Muslim to perform it once in a lifetime. Hajj rituals are performed in the month of Dhu al-Hijjah in Mecca and its surrounding areas. Hajj rituals include circumambulating the Holy Kaaba, sa’i between Safa and Marwah, stopping at Arafat, and spending the night in Muzdalifah and Mina. Hajj is an opportunity for Muslims to get closer to God and repent for sins, and it is a great spiritual experience that brings together millions of Muslims from all over the world in one place.
